Nine years ago we took our first foray into using the Matrix bunker lining system on our chipping green complex.  Having previously used geofabric liners, we found the Matrix gave a more robust and stable lining to the clay bunker bases.  The same system was then used for the course bunkers during the Renaissance upgrade in 2017/18.  To ensure consistency across the course, we recently shelled out the chipper bunkers to replace the sand.  To our amazement, the Matrix looked as it did nine years ago!  Coupled with our bunker sand, the system has withstood some serious weather, in particular the last two years.  It provides reassurance every time we have rain knowing the water will get away.  The days of pushing up bunkers are long gone!
